Audit Senior
King McNamara Moriarty LLP is looking for an Audit Senior to join our team in Norwood, MA, on a full- or part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately-held entities in a variety of industries, nonprofit organizations, and employee benefit plans.
- Prepare financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters.
- Communicate accounting and auditing issues with managers and partners.
- Develop strong client relationships and serve as a client contact during an engagement.
- Research accounting and engagement issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and professional standards
- CPA (or actively working toward passing the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination)
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting and audit experience
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Experience with Engagement Manager, CS Professional Suite, and QuickBooks a plus
- Prior audit experience with nonprofit organizations and employee benefit plans desired but not required
